A miswired HVAC condensate float switch found during a Jupiter home inspection. This could potentially cause a flood in the home due to a clogged condensate line. A condensate float switch is a safety device designed to cut off power to the compressor of an HVAC system in the event that the condensate line clogs and backs up. This prevents the condensate drain pan from over flowing into the home.
